Supervision

I am currently training for a Level 6 Diploma in Supervision and I am offering low cost sessions for qualified counsellors and counsellors currently in training. I am training in the use of the Inskipp & Proctor model of Formative, Normative and Restorative alongside Hawkins and Shohet's Seven Eyed Model of Supervision.

ABOUT ME

I am an integrative counsellor, my main theoretical models being Person centred, Psychodynamic and TA.

As well as running a successful private practice, I have also worked for youth counselling agencies and currently offer counselling in local schools which allows me to have a good insight into matters relating to safeguarding and child protection.

I have experience working with children with varying special needs as well as those on the autistic spectrum.

I work for EAP's and also take referrals from Victim support.

My work with adults and young people is varied and includes working with gender dysphoria, childhood trauma and abuse.

WHAT I CAN OFFER

For me, it is important that supervision provides a safe non judgmental, reflective space for you to explore your client work where you will continue to develop your own self awareness, enhancing your professional growth and therefore providing the best possible outcomes in your client work.

I will provide a supportive environment offering you the autonomy to freely explore your client work openly and honestly, whilst also challenging you to ensure that you are working to the best of your ability.

I would like to conclude by saying that I aim to make supervision a positive experience for you, providing a relaxed atmosphere, with I hope some humour and light heartedness thrown into the mix.
